Litea Ah Hoi

Litea has been part of the Porirua Community Trust (formerly Porirua Licencing Trust) for 18 years. Litea chairs the Porirua Regional Net Proceeds Committee on behalf of Trust House Foundation. Litea is also a member of the Trust House Foundation Board. She is a Former Porirua City Councillor and former Deputy Mayor.

Izzy Ford

Izzy is a mother of three. A former Porirua City Councillor in her second term, and a former Black Fern 99-05. Actively involved in her community in Porirua and is in her third term as Chair for Rangikura School Board.

Izzy is passionate on local issues that affect our people and believes that we have a role to play and an ultimate responsibility to those who have elected us to make effective and transparent decisions for positive change.

Henry Smith

Henry is the Chair of Porirua Community Trust, a former Porirua City Councillor and twice Olympian in Athletics.

Until recently, he was a Team Leader at New Zealand Post with 42 years service. Henry is involved in many community groups.

Henry says that he loves serving the community and enjoys helping others in their need.

Tim Sheppard

Tim was elected to the Porirua Community Trust in 2007 and has been Chair of Trust Porirua since 2013.

Previously he served our community for nine years as a Porirua City Councillor; on the Board of Whitireia Foundation; on the Advisory Committee of the Whitireia Community Law Centre and as a volunteer tutor for Literacy Aotearoa.

Tim is also a Justice of the Peace.

Eleanor Cater

Eleanor sees that strong local community involvement is important for families, schools, community groups and the city as a whole. She has been involved in running a range of local fundraising and community events since 1999.

Eleanor has a business degree and over 20 years experience in marketing and event management. She has an interest in the not-for-profit sector, working with charities across New Zealand on professional fundraising practices, and as a freelance writer.

Having grown up locally in Titahi Bay, Eleanor now lives in Plimmerton. She is very proud to call Porirua City home and says it is an honour to be representing her community as a Trustee for the Porirua Community Trust.

John Burke

John has had a 27 year association with the Porirua City Council including 15 years as Mayor. John was elected to the Porirua Licensing Trust Board in 1989 and became President in 2001.

In addition he has held roles as President of the New Zealand Licensing Trusts Association and as Chair of the Community Gaming Association.

John is a Real Estate Agent and was re-elected a Porirua City Councillor in 2013.
